TB Joshua, did he or did he not?

Recently, a ‘rumour’ has been circulating in Cameroon concerning a supposed prophecy made by Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua concerning Cameroon. Fans of his TV channel; Emmanuel TV say that he prophesied that in 2011, there will be a civil war in one of the neighbouring countries of Nigeria as a result of presidential elections. That about 2.4 million people will loose their lives and there will be a lot of destruction (these are not his exact words).

You might be asking yourself, who is TB Joshua? TB Joshua is one of the founders of The Synagogue Church Of All Nations (SCOAN), a supposed man of God, prophet and healer. Supposedly because there is an increasing number of people who are rejecting the fact that he is a man of God and that the source of his powers is not clear. True? False? One cannot say, other people believe in him because he healed them from their illnesses. Everyone remembers how Petit Pays went there and said he had been healed from an illness that haunted him for many years. Was that just publicity for TB Joshua and Emmanuel TV? Or was Petit Pays actually healed by TB Joshua?

What he was referring exactly to by one of the neighbouring countries of Nigeria? Did he mean Cameroon or other neighbouring countries of Nigeria; Chad, Benin, Niger? Niger will have its presidential elections in November this year; that leaves Niger out. Chad had its last presidential elections in 2006 and with a five year presidential mandate, the next presidential elections will be held in 2011. Benin’s presidential elections come up in 2011, followed by legislative elections in 2012. That leaves Cameroon, Benin and Chad; which of the above is the country in the prophecy? We shall see.

This is just one of his many prophecies, apparently, he had prophesied about the Heathrow Boeing 777 Plane Crash, the rescue of Ingrid Betancourt from the Colombian jungle, the death of Zambian President Levy Mwanawasaa, the recent New York Plane Crash. Joshua also regularly predicts events in the lives of individuals who attend his church services. More recently, he prophesied about the capturing and death of the Sri Lankan rebel leader, about a week before he was captured. Which of these is true? All this comes up when Cameroonians are in a situation of doubt as far as the future is concerned. The future seems bleak; many Cameroonians are sure that there will be a civil war in 2011 in Cameroon if Paul Biya head of the ruling party, (the CPDM) wins the elections once more after 27 years of being the unshakable and unchallengeable president of Cameroon. After making a short public opinion poll, it was realised that 73.25% of the people who participated in the poll believed that there will be a civil war in Cameroon if Paul Biya wins the elections once more.

Did TB Joshua, called a man of God by many actually make such a prophecy? If he did make such a prophecy will it happen? And WHERE will it happen if it does? Since his other supposed prophecies actually took place, what about this one? Does it give the prophecy a 99.9% chance of being realised? No one can tell. What do you think?

  1. who does he think he is, i do not even think he is a man of God, he is just some detractor trying to steal people's money. He is no prophet, he is fake and has used evil powers to make his prophecies come true.

  2. Joe, i don't think u have he right to jump to such hasty conclusions, i think he is a Man of God, his miracles and prophecies have proven it, he has been touched and inspired by God's own hand.

  3. I don't think there will be a civil war in Cameroon, the CPDM will win again but it will not be Paul Biya this time around, probably someone else from the CPDM. T

  4. Greetings. I am a regular viewer of Emmanuel TV and a follower of TB Joshua's ministry.

The prophet NEVER gave such prophecy. It is a hoax, a lie that certain individuals made up to create unnecessary fear and panic.

Any prophecy the prophet gives is broadcast live on Emmanuel TV. You can see all the prophecies he has given so far on his website - www.scoan.com

Let's be careful so as not to be deceived...

  5. He is just one of those people who are involved in the "other world". Powers & prophesis gotten through the devil! Some people do heal and see the future through powers which are not Godly, while pretending to wear God's clothes. I pray God give us life to see this man actually exposed someday!

  6. please my dear people, what would we have said if Isaiah was to be in our age, what about Noah and Abraham, lets talk about Paul. look when the fullness of God is being exhibited in a man of God many in his current generation might not agree with him but those in the future would discover what they`re ancestors did was a very huge mistake of rejecting them.
stories about great men of God are clearly written in the book of Hebrews.
Even Jesus who we preach today was not accepted by some then.
when are we going to wake up to know the realities of God`s supranatural powers in man.
when shall we for once acknowledge the mighty works of God through men who have devoted and dedicated their whole lives to GOD.
    when shall we.
we would on day say HAD I KNOWN if care is not taken.
if a a prophecy comes lets take heed n make sure we`re on the right side or not less we fall.
    Bless u all.

  7. Rather than listen to doubtful sources and hearsay - why not go straight to the horses mouth - Emmanuel TV where Prophet TB Joshua's prophecies are constantly being broadcast. He is a true prophet of God. He recently prophesied the death of Michael Jackson.

  9. Joe, to answer you - he is TB Joshua. You speak with authority; this shows that you belong to the dark world otherwise you would not know what powers he uses. I see you and other agents of Lucifer are trembling because he is causing havoc in your kingdoms. You, like other ‘OGBANJES’ have seen many kingdoms of darkness destroyed by the power of GOD through the Senior Prophet. You are jittery and panicky “i do not even think he is a man of God”. There is no hiding place for you. Sorry for u oohh!!!

So, Joe, get prepared because soon from your mouth will spring out a confession after deliverance by the man of God testifying that he is a true man of God. It is better for you to believe him and hear Our Heavenly Father deny him later than for you to disbelieve him, and later realize that truly he was God’s servant indeed. Have you ever heard of gnashing of teeth in hell fire?

  10. Mr anonymous, i think u should shut up when real people are talking, u are so scared that u can't even put your name on your post.

And like I have earlier said, I don't think he is for real, he sounds and looks so fake.

  11. TB JOSHUA NEVER SAID THIS. THIS THING YOU HAVE PUBLISHED IS A RUMOUR. WHY CAN'T YOU CONTACT THE MINISTRY FIRST TO ASK IF THE MAN OF GOD SAID THIS BEFORE PUBLISHING BLASPHEMY ON YOUR BLOG? I CALLED THE MINISTRY ABOUT THIS "PROHPECY" AND THEY TOLD ME THE PROPHET NEVER SAID ANYTHING ABOUT THIS. WHY DO WE PREFER SPREADING RUMOURS THAN FINDING OUT THE TRUTH?

  12. u rather and more preferably contact the synagogue before any publishing. many out there are in fear and paranoid; this is only detrumental if all this proves to be rumour

  16. Why does Prophet the Prophet only prophesy bad things? Is he a prophet of doom? Why can't he prophesy when the world will recover from the current economic crisis, or when and how Africa will emerge from poverty and become prosperous? Why does he only prophesy about death, accidents etc?

  17. TB Joshua is indeed a MAN OF GOD whether you like it or not He is really a chosen servant of God .I have been an ardent listener and a constant viewer to his services for more than 14 years now and never in his numerous broadcasts had he made mention of an impending civil war in Cameroun.Due to your nefarious activities and your quest to rule perpetually this small nation for three decades, this Paul Biya government had sought to perpetuates and concoct lies only to consolidate its desire to stay in power forever but their days are numbered .Now should better cherished faces like Samuel E'eto decide to contest for the Presidency,he will win hands down because of the kind of goodwill he enjoys from the people.Don't throw stone when you're in a glass house Mr Minister

  22. Prophet T B Joshua is a real man of God. We should be grateful and thank God to have sent such a man in our era to serve us from the hands of witches and wizards. If you guys can't believe in miracles perform by him in the name of Jesus, then believe in his preaching. He preaches Jesus which is the most important, you can't be of the devil and equally perfom miracles in the name Jesus at the same time. May God forgives all those who doubt T.B Joshua, for they do not know what they are doing, may the holy spirit deliver them from the spirit of unfaithfulness. God bless you all.

FOR THE SPIRIT OF GOD IS ONE.NEVER TRY TO JUGDE HIM FORM YOUR OWN HUMAN PERPECTIVE BUT RATHER FROM A REVELATION IN YOUR SPIRIT.

  25. Rubbish. TBJ never said such. When TBJ prophecies, it comes to pass - because it is not him but God speaking through him (http://tbjoshuatestimonies.wordpress.com/2011/03/15/prophecy-day-of-birth-revealed/).

People should stop peddling rumours and watch Emmanuel TV for themselves

  26. Dear Cameroonians,
If it is true that there was a prophecy, it should not be a surprise, God has the right to destroy Cameroon for there is so many devil. Lets all than God for his grace and everlasting love which we do not merit. Instead of complaining lets all go down on our kneels and talk to God and lets us spread the gospel as the man of God Samuel Percee says. It is said prevention is better than cure. Prophets are on earth whether u accept or not.

  27. Prophet TEMITOPE BALOGUN JOSHUA(TB JOSHUA)may you leave long and see all your enemies of spiritual progress confess. One thing that people of little faith fail to see with you is that, the more they criticise the more you grow in spirit as the days go by. Whether or not you prophesised about 2011 in Cameroon, what I know about you is that all your prophesies had come to pass and this one will not be different if directed towards Cameroon. Although prophesies are prophesies I believe with your intervention together with our own efforts in prayer God can have mercy on us.

  30. who are we to judge if a man of God is real or not.It is not the place of a child of God to judge talkless of criticise a fellow christian bitterly.Prophecies are not meant to punish us not even when they are contrary to our wishes, they are to reproach and strengthen our love for God.Rather than refute the prophecy, that is if there was a prophecy of that nature, Id rather we implore on God to let the peace we have always had prevail.I know of a Bible story in which God sent an angel to announce the death of a king, Hezekiah now he went down on his kneels wept and prayed God added so many years to his life. Now if we were to analyse the way some of us are doing we would await his death and hastily conclude that the prophecy was not from God because he lived longer than the angel initially announced. What im i insinuating here, rather than try to prove TB JOSHUA right or wrong, why not pray like King Hezkiah inorder to avert our fears, afterall we stand to loose nothing if we do that and equally flee the sin of judging others.GOD BLESS MY FATHERLAND CAMEROON, Peace, Work,Fatherland
